久々のキャンプ
花粉症が終るとキャンプの季節。この週末は、友人夫婦と一緒に丹沢にキャンプにでかけた。
テントのセッティングがすみ、充分薪が集まるや、最近お気に入りのビール、CHIMAYの赤を飲みはじめる。
一足はやくGW中に今年の初キャンプをしてきた彼らが「焚火の煙で鴨を４時間くらいかけてスモークしたら絶品だった」というので、今回もその再現をお願いすることに。「レジオン」のバゲットにサルディーニャ産のオリーブオイルをつけて食べるところから開始。ここからは白ワインにうつる。出張みやげに友人が買ってきてくれたルバイヤート甲州シュールリーという白ワインが意外においしくヨシヨシ。莢ごと焚火であぶった空豆もパクパク。
おなかがすいた子どもらは、待ちきれずに勝手におにぎりをあぶっている（結局娘は前菜に３個、息子は２個も焼きおにぎりを食べた）。イワシのフェンネル風味焼き。ここで２本目の白,NZ産に突入。マッシュルームのタイム＆ワイン蒸し、真鯛のフェンネル＆ローズマリー焼き。なぜかクサヤも登場。
ここらで赤１本目（ラベルのイメージは覚えているが何飲んだか記憶にないぞ）。キョフタ（中近東風にスパイスをきかせた羊のミートボール）。ちょっとあぶったフォカッチャでサンド。とうとう鴨の試食の時間。これがメチャ旨！ワインがすすむぞ。２本目の赤。
子どもらは、すでにデザートに突入。マシュマロを木の枝にさして焚火であぶり、一方でチョコチップ入りのクッキーをさっとあぶってこれでマシュマロをサンドして食べている。大人は、焚火で一度グリルしてから煮込んだミネストローネもどき。ちょっと風が寒くなってきたので、体があたたまっていい感じ。焼きおにぎりでしめ。
あとはシングルモルトを飲みながら、男２人が「アートだ！」と興奮しながら作っている焚火の火をみながらぼ〜っとしている。キャンプって手軽に日常からワープできるのがやっぱり好きだ。そうそう、ちなみに今回の料理のほとんどは男たちが作ってくれたので、これまた極楽なのでした。
