インドネシアの朝ご飯
植木鉢で育てているプチトマトを朝食にだしたら、あまりの甘さに「ウマ〜ッ」と家族で感激。一人の昼は残っていた焼き鮭をほぐして、庭のシソをた〜っぷりと、お気に入りの養肝漬（伊賀の特産）とでお茶漬けサラサラ。このしょっぱさが、あ〜っしあわせ！
ココナッツまんじゅう
どちらかというと左党の私でもおかわりしてしまった「ナガサリ」
始めに泊まったPulisanでの朝ご飯は毎日甘いもの一品のみ。その日によって、ココナッツを甘く煮たのが入ったお饅頭のようなのとか、バナナパンケーキとか、ナガサリ（バナナとタピオカの粉をまぜてバナナの粉に包んで蒸したもの）とか、サーターアンダギーのようなドーナッツとかが出る。子どもたちは大喜びで、パンケーキを５枚も食べたり、ドーナッツを６個も食べたり！手作りでおいしいのだけれど、夫と私は、さすがに毎日となると、「甘いものよりは、フルーツとかって方がいいんだけれどねえ」とぼやきながら、１つ２つつまむ。ここではインスタントのコーヒーしかなかったので、マーケットで買った大豆コーヒー（大豆をいって粉にしたものにお湯をそそぐ）を飲んだら、お腹すっきり！！！日本でも最近売られてきているけれど、かなりの高値なので、おみやげに買ってかえることに。
