親と子の食事、夫と妻の食事
自力整体の教室（ヨガと気功をまぜたようなの）に通いはじめて1年余り。その教室の仲間で話していたときに、「親と子の食事の内容をそろそろわけないとつらい」という話がでた。上の子が１歳の時からのママサークルの仲間なので、みんな中１の子どもがおり、その下に多少年がちがえど小学生が１人という構成。ある人がいうには、「最近、脂っぽいものをうけつけなくなってきたの」とのこと。鯖とか、カマとかも、ほんの１口しか食べたくないくらいという。他の人たちも頷いている。たしかに数年前には大好きだったある店のしめ鯖が、ここのところ脂っぽく感じられるけれど、カマはやっぱり別モノなんだけどなあ。でもさらに私を驚かせたのは、夫たちもそうだという話。子どもらには「野菜から食べなさい」というのだけれど、自らは、まず肉に突進というタイプの我が夫。アメリカでの２２年の食生活はやはり影響大なんでしょうねえ。ウチの夫、いつになったら「さっぱり味が好き」となってくれるのかしらん。
その晩、１パック３００円で大きな鯛のおかしら1匹分をゲットしたので、これの塩焼き（私は辛味大根たっぷり添え）。骨もついてくる店が多いのにここのは残念ながら無しで、潮汁が作れず、子どもらはガックリ。薬味たっぷり冷や奴、枝豆、蒸したとうもろこし、トマト、茄子とパプリカたちの味噌＆みりん炒め、片栗粉をまぶしてさっとゆがいた鶏のムネスライスと、これもさっとゆがいた薄切りの椎茸をあわせて大葉をあわせて梅酢味の和え物。ぬか漬け３種にご飯、オクラの味噌汁という、夫がいないパターンの和食。「あ〜、お〜いしかった〜」と一人満足しながら、「ねえねえ、こういうご飯って肉が少ないからものたりない？」と子どもらにきいたところ、「だ〜いすきだよ。カマに脂のっているし」とのこと。なんでもない和食のしみじみしたおいしさに馴らしておかねば、という教育方針は今のところ大丈夫みたいで、ホッ。
