息子の学校で食の探偵団
今日は、雨の中、息子の通う学校のPTAの会で、「食の探偵団」やってきました。知っている顔が多いというのは、なかなかやりにくいんですよね、、。ウォーミングアップとして、香りだけで、食材が何かをあててもらう「香りあてゲーム」、その後、６種類のダシ（鰹、昆布、干し貝柱、煮干し、鶏、野菜くず、、これら、昨日とっていたやつ）を探りあてるゲーム。それに続いて、変幻自在レシピでは、大根料理づくし。デザートもつくっちゃいました。大根飯も作ったのですが、そこでは、４班で別々のダシで炊き分けてもらい、４種類の大根飯を試食。同じ作り方でも、ダシによってまったく味わいが違っちゃうのです。さらには、味覚のふるさとという、自分にとっての食の原点を探るプログラムを入れて終了。途中、ガス栓があかなかったり、ヒューズがとんだり、、とトラブルもあったのだけれど、どうにか無事おわりました。参加してくれた人たちが、何か感じてくれたらよいのだけれど、、。
その後、午後も打合わせで外出。子どもの用事やらなんやらで、家に戻ったのは６時半すぎ。さ〜て、今日は夫も帰ってこないし、手抜きでカレーの日といきますか、、。
